SEO Oh No! – Gone Too Far With Local Search Engine Optimization?
Avoid old SEO advice
Old SEO advice is not only inaccurate but sometimes dangerous
In the past you could stuff keywords. Today adding a keyword 20 times is not a good idea. Adding keywords invisibly by making white text on a white page background is not a clever way of getting keywords into a page without annoying users. Getting backlinks from people offering a link for money isn’t always positive as its often a non releated site which is unhelpful for visitors.
All this is SEO advice. It’s out there on the web, but it’s old advice! Even this year, studies are suggesting some GMB practices are no long relevant. For example keywords in description, geotagging images, the amount of citations, its all changing.
